What changed: Grow with Jane now offers Jane AI
Grow with Jane describes Jane AI as an assistant that can work with questions, attached photos and context shared through supported growlog flows. It also provides app help and growlog summaries. The older claim that Jane lacks AI is outdated.
Its documentation says the assistant works when you initiate a conversation or share context. It does not silently monitor activity or make changes by itself, and its diagnoses are not guaranteed. See the official Jane AI documentation for the current explanation.
What MasterGrowbot AI lists
MasterGrowbot AI describes photo analysis, a digital journal, strain information and personalized plans in its store listings. The current iOS listing also describes shareable plant-health reports and short-video analysis for Premium subscribers. These are product descriptions, not independent evidence of diagnostic accuracy or better outcomes than another app.
Choose MasterGrowbot if its photo-analysis and journal workflow matches what you want to use. Review the available features on your platform before purchasing. Read the iOS listing or Android listing.
Pricing and trial checks before subscribing
Both products can change plan limits and regional prices. Check the current subscription screen rather than relying on an old comparison price. For MasterGrowbot, the current iOS description offers a three-day Pro trial to eligible new subscribers and says Premium does not include that introductory trial. Do not assume the same offer applies to every Android plan or account.
Before confirming, check the renewal amount, billing interval, trial end date, cancellation steps and whether the specific feature you want is included. We have not verified current Jane AI plan allowances, so this comparison does not promise unlimited or free AI access.
Which app fits your preferred workflow?
Consider Grow with Jane if you want its growlog and community workflow together with Jane AI. Consider MasterGrowbot AI if you want the photo-analysis and plant-journal workflow described in its listings; iOS users considering video analysis should review Premium specifically.
Neither app should be selected on an unsupported promise of guaranteed accuracy, crop savings or financial return. Compare how each app handles your records, shared context and subscription terms. Our app-selection guide and journal-app checklist provide related selection questions.
